I am an associate professor of Supply Chain Management and Analytics at the School of Business, Virginia Commonwealth University.
My research is focused on developing and evaluating innovative and responsible operations around management practices related to human capital and technology. This work is always motivated by real world challenges in global supply chains that require firms to align their operations with the needs of many stakeholders in different markets. People along supply chains care about what organizations do, and organizations can play a major role in the major issues. In particular, I aim to understand 1) how firms encompass innovative and responsible operation practices in the value creation process, and 2) given the emerging need, how firms develop and manage their technology effectively, in their own country and the global markets.
To address research questions in these two streams, I conduct analysis through the application of empirical and computational methods involving statistics, econometrics, machine learning, psychometrics, and data analytics.
